It began with two machines: the Porsche 911 and the Land Rover Defender.
The 911 through evolution. The Defender through purpose.
One continuously refined without abandoning its origin. The other reduced, again and again, to what it needed to be.
The archive
PMA exists to study proportion, function, engineering, material, detail and memory. It is not interested only in finished objects. Sketches, failed ideas, variations and changes of direction remain part of the record.
Nothing needs to disappear simply because something better came afterwards. The evolution of the archive is part of the archive.

Each study receives its place in sequence. PMA / 0000 marks the beginning. What follows may become drawings, objects, photographs, garments, printed matter, technical studies or things that do not yet have a name.
There is no planned final entry.
The purpose is to keep building the archive with enough care that, years from now, every piece still carries evidence of when it was made, why it existed and what came before it.
